Fine print: garden-style roses are known for their ruffly edges and frilly petals; they will arrive closed as they are fresh from the grower but will open beautifully and can be enjoyed for longer!

To maximize the life of your roses:


  • The roses in the mix may have natural guard petals intentionally left on to protect the rose during transport; carefully remove any that you see. 
  • Remove any leaves or foliage that would be below the waterline to avoid contaminating the water. 
  • Fill a clean vase with room temperature water and add a sprinkle of the provided flower food. Hang onto the package for future waterings. 
  • Trim the stems for best water absorption, remove the tie and place flowers in the vase. Change/add fresh water daily, adding a sprinkle of flower food each time to prolong the life of your blooms. 
  • Keep in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight and heat. Some flowers will bloom faster than others and at different times. 
  • Remove stems as they expire to keep the others blooming bright!
