Each Tonic Blooms bouquet is designed for long-lasting beauty. Our flowers are delivered at peak freshness, and with a little care, like keeping them in clean water and away from direct sunlight, they’ll stay bright and beautiful for days after graduation.

To keep your bouquet vibrant:

  • Trim the stems: Cut about 1–2 cm off the stems at a 45° angle using sharp scissors or a knife.
  • Use clean water: Fill a clean vase with room-temperature water and, if provided, add the flower food (not recommended for all flowers).
  • Remove submerged leaves: Strip any leaves below the waterline to prevent bacterial growth.
  • Change the water regularly: Replace the water every 1–2 days and re-cut the stems to keep your bouquet fresh and vibrant.
  • Keep them cool: Place your bouquet in a cool spot away from direct sunlight, drafts, or ripening fruit.

Traditionally, flowers are given after the ceremony, often accompanied by a congratulatory message. It's customary for female graduates to wear a floral wrist corsage and for male graduates to wear a boutonnière. These floral accessories are typically presented before the ceremony.

The best flowers for a graduation bouquet are those that symbolize achievement, new beginnings, and admiration. Popular choices include:

  • Peonies: Represent honour and prosperity.
  • Sunflowers: Stand for happiness and positivity.
  • Roses: Different colours convey various meanings; for instance, red roses signify admiration, while white roses represent new beginnings.

These flowers not only add beauty to the bouquet but also carry meaningful messages for the graduate.
