Pack A Punch Flower Care

Pack A Punch features peonies, garden-style roses, gerbera daisies and foliage, arranged as a 360-degree bouquet. Sourced directly from our trusted growers, rest assured they’re the most extraordinary blooms around!

Peonies start as balls shaped like 'ice cream scoops' and open into large flowers with ruffled layers of petals with a delightful fragrance. Our peonies are delivered in more closed buds as they are fresh from the grower, so you can enjoy them for as long as possible! Warmer water can accelerate the opening of the flowers should you wish for them to bloom faster. Once bloomed, peonies tend to have a shorter than average lifespan, but it’s their fleeting beauty that makes them so special!

The garden-style roses in the mix have naturally ruffled petals with frilly edges. This is completely normal and what makes them so unique!

Your bouquet is safely wrapped in a hydration pack and our signature carrying carton, keeping it fresh until you put it in a vase. See our recommended instructions below to best care for your flowers.

To maximize the life of your hand-tied bouquet:

  • Unwrap your flowers and remove the hydration pack and tie.
  • Guard petals (slightly blemished or discoloured outer petals) on the roses are intentionally left on as they protect the bloom during transit. They can be easily removed, if you wish, though we often prefer to leave them intact as they add character and make the rose open nicer!
  • You may notice some blemishes on the outer petals of the peonies - this is totally normal and will not affect their overall health. Once the flower opens, these petals will go to the underside, making the blemishes unnoticeable.
  • Trim the stems upon arrival for best water absorption and place flowers in a clean vase filled with room temperature water.
  • Change/add fresh water daily to prolong the life of your blooms.
  • Keep the flowers in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight and heat.
  • Some flowers will bloom faster than others and at different times. Remove stems as they expire to keep the others blooming bright!
  • Peonies may arrive with sap on the buds that may prevent them from opening; this can be removed with warm water.
  • If some peonies are not blooming, a gentle massage will help them open.
  • Why no flower food? Changing / adding water is really all peonies need to keep them happy and healthy!
