The Rock Candy Anthurium plant is Native to tropical regions in South America and the Caribbean. It is often referred to as the “flamingo flower” because of its unusual and unique shape. Anthurium plant produces new flowers throughout the year. Each bloom can last up to eight weeks, and new ones will pop up often. These aren't technically flowers, but are modified waxy leaves - cool, right?! When the plant has shiny leaves and is producing new flowers, they are enjoying favourable conditions! Be sure to remove any dried or faded leaves / flowers should any appear. Bloom size and colours may vary slightly. Arrives potted in 5"X 4" distressed blue and white ceramic pot.Total plant height is approx. 16”-18".
Light: Bright indirect sunlight is best. Direct sunlight will burn the plant. Water: We suggest watering every 1-2 weeks, allowing soil to dry out between waterings. Too frequent watering can lead to root rot. As a tropical plant, the anthurium will benefit from a light weekly misting. Adjust care as humidity and daylight change throughout the year. Always avoid placing near vents and fans. A care card is included to assist in maximizing plant health & longevity.
