Nicknamed the Prickly Pear Cactus or Fruit Cactus. The Opuntia Cactus is a favourite succulent known for its summer blooms, but we think it's pretty cool year-round!
Light: Requires bright, direct light
Water: 3-4 weeks
The plant will arrive potted in the 5" peach scalloped cylinder pot shown in the main product image.
Paddle Cactus is an Opuntia cactus variety.Each pot is 4.75" x 4.5" tall with total cactus height approx. 7" tall.
Light: As native desert plants, cacti thrive in bright direct light but can tolerate bright indirect light as well as a drought-like environment.
Water: Water infrequently (i.e. every 3-4 weeks) allowing soil to dry out between waterings to prevent root rot. Paddle Cactus will benefit from a light misting ever now and again. Overwatering will kill your cactus. A care card is included with these simple steps to maximize longevity.
