Ranunculus' sister and anemone's cousin, butterfly ranunculus is a newer flower to the scene, which is one of the reasons why it's so special! As the flower blooms, their thin, naturally rumpled petals reveal a waxy layer that gives them the sparkly sheen appearance of a butterfly. Super seasonal, these blooms will impress the most discerning flower fanatic and add a boho vibe to any setting.

To maximize the life of your butterfly ranunculus: 

• Unwrap your flowers and remove the hydration pack. 
• Remove any extra leaves or foliage (if applicable) that would be below the waterline to avoid contaminating the water. 
• Fill a clean vase with room temperature water and stir in a sprinkle of the provided flower food. Hang onto the package for future waterings. 
• Trim the stems for best water absorption, remove the tie and place flowers in the vase.
• Change/add fresh water daily, stirring in a sprinkle of flower food to the water each time to prolong the life of your blooms. Keep the flowers in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight and heat. 
• Some flowers will bloom faster than others and at different times. Remove stems as they expire to keep the others blooming bright!

Some ranunculus will arrive in closed buds as they are fresh from the grower, but will open beautifully and can be enjoyed for longer!

Warmer water can accelerate the opening of the flowers should you wish for them to bloom faster. If you would prefer the flowers to be open for a special occassion or event, we recommend placing your order 3-4 days prior.
